Nick Garden

Nick Garden has diverse work experience in various companies. Nick is currently working at NZX Limited as the Head of Derivatives, a role they began in January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Manager, Derivatives and Data Insights at NZX Limited from April 2018 to January 2022.

Before their tenure at NZX Limited, Nick served as the Managing Director at Avenel Farming Company Ltd starting from August 2011.

Nick also worked as a Dairy Trader at Fonterra from April 2010 to August 2011 and as a Pricing Development Manager at British Gas from January 2009 to February 2010.

Furthermore, Nick had multiple roles at TrustPower, where they started as a Reconciliation Analyst in March 2004, then transitioned to become a Pricing Analyst from April 2005 to June 2006, and finally served as an Energy Trader from July 2006 to March 2008.

Nick Garden attended the University of Otago from 2000 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Economics and Information Science.
