Hunter Holtrop is an experienced river guide currently working for Arizona Raft Adventures and OARS Companies, Inc. since 2021 and 2018 respectively. In addition to guiding, Hunter serves as a Freeride Ski Coach for the Taos Winter Sports Team, focusing on middle and early high school athletes and holds IFSA certification. Previous roles include community solar development intern at Oak Leaf Energy Partners, academic advising front desk associate, and student analyst at the Marsico Equity Fund during tenure at the University of Denver, where a Finance degree was earned. Earlier work experience includes serving at Tim's Stray Dog Cantina and Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa. Hunter's education encompasses studies in iOS development at Udacity, a Patagonia Semester in mountaineering and outdoor skills through NOLS, and academic pursuits at Colorado College.
