Katrina Cornell

Katrina Cornell is an experienced educator and outdoor enthusiast with a diverse background in teaching and river guiding. Currently serving as a Biology Teacher at Telluride High School since August 2013, Katrina has also worked as a River Guide for OARS and Echo River Trips since 2010 and 2008, respectively. Prior teaching roles include substitute teaching at Jackson Hole Community School from February 2009 to March 2011 and serving as a Teaching Assistant at MIT from 2006 to 2007. Academic credentials include a Teaching Certification in High School Science from UT Austin (2012-2013) and dual degrees in Geology and Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2002-2007). Additional experience includes roles in biological research, retail, and as a cashier.
