Maki Mukai

Maki Mukai has a strong background in marketing and communications. Maki is currently the Head of Marketing at O(1) Labs, a position they started in June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Input Output (IOHK) where they held multiple roles, including Head of Marketing Communications from June 2021 to June 2023, Product Marketing Manager from April 2019 to June 2021, and Community Manager from December 2018 to August 2019. Before joining IOHK, Maki worked at the Cardano Foundation as a Content Marketing & Community Manager from June 2018 to August 2019, and as a Marketing & Community Executive from November 2017 to June 2018. Maki also has experience in the agriculture industry, having worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Windset Farms from September 2016 to August 2017, and as a Marketing Assistant from September 2013 to September 2016. Maki's early career involved work as a Project Consultant at Sky Harvest from November 2012 to April 2013.

Maki Mukai's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Queen's University. They pursued a Bachelor of Science Honours degree with a focus on Biology and Environmental Studies, completing their studies in 2012. In 2013, they attended the University of British Columbia and earned a Master of Management degree. Additionally, in the same year, they participated in the International Summer University Program at Copenhagen Business School, focusing on International Business.
