João Freitas

João Freitas is the Chief Technology Officer at O2 Inc. since July 2024, leading the company's technological strategy and innovation aimed at assisting small and medium entrepreneurs. Prior to this, João served in various technical leadership roles at Cora from January 2020 to July 2024, including Partner & Team Lead of Engineering, where responsibilities included the development of credit applications and backend solutions. João began the journey at Cora as a Software Engineer, focusing on core functionalities based on microservices architecture. Previous experience includes a software engineer position at Nibo, a back-end developer and mobile tech leader at Stone Pagamentos, and a designer at Aprimore Concursos. João holds a degree in Information Systems from Universidade Veiga de Almeida and has furthered education at Caelum.
