Lalit Birla is an accomplished professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head and Vice President of Wind Resource Assessment at O2 Power since July 2020, where key achievements include securing multiple significant bids. Prior to this role, Lalit held the position of Deputy General Manager for Engineering and Technical Services at Sembcorp Green Infra Limited, contributing to the successful commissioning of large-scale wind projects. Previous experience includes leading the Wind Resource Assessment department at SKEIRON RENEWABLE ENERGY PRIVATE LIMITED, and holding various technical roles at Orange Renewable Power and RRB Energy Limited, focusing on site prospecting and project development across India. Lalit’s career began at Suzlon Wind Energy A/S, working with international projects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Technology in Energy Management from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and a Master of Science in Physics with a specialization in Energy Studies from North Maharashtra University.
