Laura Marescu

Laura Marescu has a diverse work experience in various HR roles.

Laura began their career at Orange Romania in 2006, where they worked as a Human Resources Administrator. Laura later took on roles as an HR Shared Services Team Leader, Payroll Specialist, and HR Service Delivery Manager.

In 2009, Laura joined ICBC as an HR Analyst. Laura worked in this role for six years before transitioning to Avigilon in 2015, where they served as an HRIS Specialist for a brief period.

Laura then returned to ICBC and held positions as a Senior SAP HR Functional Analyst and a Senior Functional Analyst specializing in Business Process Automation and Innovation.

Laura'smost recent position was at O2E Brands, where they started as a Senior Manager of People Operations in 2018. Laura was later promoted to the role of Director of People Operations & Total Rewards in March 2021.

Laura Marescu obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Business from the Academy of Economical Studies - Faculty of International Economical Relations in 2004. Laura then pursued a Master's degree in International Business from the same institution, graduating in 2006. In 2003, Laura received a Socrates/Erasmus Scholarship and studied at Universitat d'Alacant for one year. Later, they attended Seneca College from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Human Resources Management Graduate Certificate with Honors.
