Maria Godoy

Maria Godoy is an experienced Senior Privacy and Data Protection Consultant currently leading the Privacy Team at Hitachi Systems Security Inc. since May 2021. In this role, Maria manages privacy services and strategy while also overseeing compliance assessments and the development of privacy programs for clients. Maria is also an Attorney at Law specializing in the privacy and tech sector with the Brazilian Bar Association. Previous experience includes a role as a Privacy Analyst at MindGeek and involvement with the International Association of Privacy Professionals, promoting networking for privacy professionals. Maria holds an IT Law Master's degree from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor of Laws from UNICURITIBA, complemented by a certification in Fundamentals of Privacy from the University of Toronto.
