Alexandre Schmitz is a software developer currently employed at the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) since August 2020, specializing in Ruby on Rails backend and front-end development using various technologies such as HTML, CSS, and jQuery. Prior experience includes roles as a teacher and teaching assistant at Le Wagon, where Alexandre conducted workshops and represented the institution in hackathons, as well as serving as CXO and co-founder of Cerbo, focusing on interface design and front-end development. Additionally, Alexandre has worked as a freelance web developer, meeting client needs through various technologies, and has interned in lean and continuous improvement roles at Alstom Power and Fondation de Polytechnique, enhancing internal processes and tools. Alexandre holds a Master of Research and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
