Aaron Crookston

Aaron Crookston is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the public sector in New Zealand. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at the Office of the Auditor-General since May 2021, Aaron previously held the same title at the Crown Law Office from June 2015 to April 2021. Before that, Aaron was the Finance and Performance Manager at the Ministry for the Environment from February 2010 to May 2015. Aaron Crookston holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington, completed between 1992 and 1996, and received education at Onslow College in Wellington from 1987 to 1991.
