James Campbell

James Campbell has over 27 years of work experience in the beverage industry. James'smost recent role was as the Senior Vice President of Sales and National Accounts at Oak & Eden Whiskey, starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, including Vice President of Paramount Wine and Spirits, Vice President of Pinnacle Wine and Spirits, and Director of National and Regional Chain Accounts, Off Premise. Before joining Southern Glazer's, James was the General Manager of Cactus Wine, the Regional Sales Director at Mustang Spirits, and the Regional Sales Director at Bayou Beverage. James also worked as the Southwest Area Manager at E & J Gallo Winery and the Director of Sales at Glazers Wholesale Distributors. James began their career in the industry as a Retail Sales Representative at Bayou Beverage.

James Campbell attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) certification from the Society of Wine Educators in 2005. James also became a Certified Sommelier through the same institution in 2017. Lastly, James obtained the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust in an unspecified year.
