Eric Davis

Eric Davis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in architecture, public policy, and governance. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Department of Capital Planning and Policy at Cook County Government since October 2014, Eric also contributes as a Board Member on the Zoning Board of Appeals. Eric has a longstanding involvement with Oak Park Township, re-elected to the Board of Trustees for multiple terms since 2005. Previously, Eric held roles such as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Chicago and Vice President for Architecture at Aria Public Design LLC. A professional architectural consultant, Eric founded Public Design Architects LLC and has worked with notable firms such as CDM and DMJM/AECOM. Educational credentials include degrees from the University of Cambridge, the University of Chicago, and the University of Illinois Chicago, along with a foundational degree from the University of Virginia.
