Maria Down

Maria Down currently serves as a Protocol Officer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Maria worked at Warner Bros. Discovery and Discovery Inc. as a Specialist in Social Good from April 2022 to April 2022 and March 2018 to April 2022, respectively. Additionally, Maria contributed to Scripps Networks Interactive from May 2016 to March 2018 as a Specialist and Coordinator in Cause Marketing and Social Responsibility. Earlier experience includes managing special events and volunteers at The Salvation Army of Greater Knoxville and serving as a Clerical Sales Assistant at Wildflower International. Maria Down earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Business and Entrepreneurship from Middle Tennessee State University between 2001 and 2005.
