Shaun Gleason has extensive experience in advanced research and development, currently serving as the Director of the Science-Security Initiative Integration and various other roles at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since June 2008. Significant contributions have been made in leading multiple divisions, including Cyber Resilience and Intelligence, Cyber and Applied Data Analytics, and Computational Science and Engineering, focusing on areas such as cybersecurity, machine learning, and complex systems research. In addition to roles at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Shaun Gleason is a Joint Faculty member at the Bredesen Center, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, since January 2016. Previous leadership positions in preclinical R&D at Siemens Medical Solutions and ImTek, Inc. further highlight a strong background in medical imaging technology. Shaun Gleason holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, obtained in 2001.
