Douglas Wood began their career in 2009 as a Technical Advisor at The Listening Company. In 2010, they moved to Teleperformance as a Technical Advisor, providing Apple Technical support of computer OS, up to OS 10.7, as well as hardware and software support for the many types on system as well as configuring back up and OS set services. In 2012, they took on a Technical Advisor role at Sky. In 2018, they joined Oak Engage as a Customer Success Manager, focusing on handling the customer life cycle of an Oak client. In this role, they were responsible for making sure clients get the most from their system, speaking to them daily through a variety of mediums. Douglas was also involved in the development cycle, gathering feedback from the client base and presenting it to the senior management team.

Douglas Wood received a Bachelor's degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2004. Prior to that, they attended the Royal Hospital School from 1994 to 2001.
