Dave Kaval

David Kaval currently serves as the President of the Oakland Athletics and has held the position since November 2016. In addition to this role, Kaval is a Lecturer in Management at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, specializing in sports management and marketing. Kaval is also a Board Member at Rocketship Education and serves on the National Advisory Board for the Positive Coaching Alliance. Previously, Kaval held various leadership roles, including Board Member positions at the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce and San Jose Sports Authority, as well as President of the San Jose Earthquakes Soccer team. Kaval is the CEO and Founder of The Golden Baseball League and has experience as a Director for the San Mateo County Workforce Investment Board. Kaval earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from Stanford University.
