Art Schrah possesses extensive experience in fire investigation and emergency services, currently serving on the Board of Directors for the MI Chapter IAAI since May 2008 and holding the position of President from May 2016 to 2017. As a member of the MI Arson Prevention Committee since May 2008, Art has contributed to initiatives aimed at reducing arson. A full-time Fire Investigator for Oakland County since August 1993, Art has conducted over 1000 origin and cause fire investigations. Additionally, Art has been a Paid on Call BEMT/Firefighter with Orion Township Fire Department since May 1983 and previously served as a Deputy with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office from January 1988 to August 1993. Art's educational background includes law enforcement studies at OCC Auburn Hills.
