Jared Barnett

Jared Barnett is a skilled Community Health Worker with experience in both the public and nonprofit sectors. Currently employed by Oakland County, Michigan Government since December 2024, Jared previously worked at Honor Community Health from June 2022 to December 2024 in the same role. Prior to these positions, Jared contributed to patient care at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System from November 2017 to June 2022, initially as a Patient Care Assistant and previously as an Environmental Services Specialist. Jared has also gained valuable experience through an internship at The Baldwin Center, focusing on creative writing activities for youth. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Oakland University and ongoing studies toward a Master of Public Health at the same institution, alongside an Associate's degree from Oakland Community College.
