Khadija Walker-Fobbs

Khadija Walker-Fobbs is an accomplished professional in neighborhood and housing development, currently serving as the Neighborhood & Housing Development Officer for Oakland County, Michigan Government since June 2023. Previously, Khadija held a significant role as Chief Strategy Officer at Judson Center from October 2019 to June 2023, impacting thousands of families through various services. As a co-founder and Board President of Mission 1:17, Khadija contributed to the well-being of young adults with foster care backgrounds. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Executive Director for The New Foster Care and Director of Development at Michigan Youth Opportunities Initiative. Khadija is also recognized for founding the Enterprising Youth Program, aimed at enhancing economic opportunities, and for establishing a consulting firm, Fobbs & Walker Consulting. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University.
