Juma Crawford

Juma Crawford is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in educational and philanthropic organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at the Oakland Fund for Public Innovation since October 2020, Crawford also holds the position of President at the Lewis Family Foundation and serves as the Executive Director of the Grand Circle Foundation-Boston. Previously, Crawford held executive roles at Friends of the Children-Boston and College Bound Dorchester, along with positions as Upper School Principal at the Community Charter School of Cambridge and a founding member and instructor at Codman Academy Charter Public School. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Boston College Law School, a Masters in Education focused on Social Policy from Harvard University, and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Amherst College.
