Naomi Flores-Bernal

Naomi Flores-Bernal is an experienced educator currently serving as a TK Dual Language Teacher at Oakland Unified School District since February 2023, focusing on fostering bilingualism, biliteracy, and cultural awareness among transitional kindergarten students. Additionally, Naomi has worked as an Academic Coach at Oakland Genesis since July 2022, where responsibilities include leading classroom lessons and collaborating with the program director on lesson plans. Previous roles include Early Literacy Tutor, Assistant Academic Coach, and various internships with a focus on academic support and community outreach. Naomi holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northeastern University, expected in April 2024, and has a high school diploma from Coliseum College Preparatory Academy.
