Cassie Perham

Cassie Perham has extensive experience in literacy and community engagement, currently serving as Co-Executive Director at the Oakland Literacy Coalition since 2011, focusing on enhancing literacy efforts in Oakland. Prior to this role, Perham held positions at the Rogers Family Foundation as Program Manager and Literacy Program Officer, as well as an Administrative Assistant at Room to Read, where a commitment to literacy and gender equality in education was emphasized. Additional consulting and volunteer experiences include work with Good Cents for Oakland, CAIR Coalition, and the Peace Corps, all contributing to a strong foundation in non-profit management. Cassie holds a BA in International Relations from the University of California, Davis, and a Professional Certificate in Non-Profit Management from San Francisco State University.
