Jamie So

Jamie So serves as the Associate Manager of Matriculation and Persistence at Oakland Promise since July 2019, where responsibilities include developing and evaluating programs for scholars, mentoring College Completion Advisors, and utilizing data analytics to improve advising services. Additionally, Jamie is a Program Coordinator and Advising Associate at the Bay Area College Success Network since January 2021, and holds positions as Steering Committee Chair at SOSA FITNESS and Fitness Coach, focusing on promoting health and fitness among working professionals aged 24-35. Previous experience includes roles such as Persistence Adviser at East Bay College Fund, where Jamie provided college persistence counseling, and various positions in educational support, including College Advisor and CREWS Leader, contributing to college readiness and retention efforts. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Asian-American Studies from San Francisco State University.
