Lucina Parada is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in program management, particularly in alumni and workforce development. Currently serving as the Program Manager at Oakland Promise, Lucina oversees the Alumni Program and career development for over 400 college seniors. Previous roles include Program Coordinator at Oakland Promise, where Lucina facilitated the success of first-year college students and co-led the development of workshops. Lucina's legal experience as a bilingual immigration paralegal includes managing complex dockets at Fuerza Immigration Lawyers and the Law Office of Robert L. Lewis. Lucina also contributed as a fellow at the City and County of San Francisco, providing analytical support in contracts administration. Lucina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Oakland Promise is available to young learners (from newborns to college students) and their families provide every child with financial resources, educational programming, mentorship, and a supportive community to assist them and their families in pursuing and succeeding in higher education and the career of their choice.
