Thomas Smith

Thomas Smith has extensive experience in education and leadership, serving as a Deacon at St. John's Episcopal Church since November 2008 and as an instructor at Oakland Schools since August 1986, where the program transitioned from Landscape Design and Construction to Agriscience, including Biotechnology and Environmental Science. Additionally, Thomas represents and leads the Biotechnology and Environmental Science Cluster at Oakland Schools. Previous roles include Camp Director at Camp Chickagami and Adjunct Faculty at Oakland Community College, where curriculum for Landscape Design Programs was developed. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Agriculture and Extension Education from Michigan State University and an Office Specialist degree from Pontiac Business Institute.
