Ramona Burton

Ramona Burton is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and administration within the K-12 education system. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher and Director of State and Local Assessment at Oakland Unified School District since July 2012, Ramona oversees assessment programs while also holding a position as a Financial Representative at Primerica. Prior roles include Principal at West Contra Costa Unified School District and Director of Research and Development at LitConn. Ramona's extensive experience began at Los Angeles Unified School District, where responsibilities ranged from English Learner Program Specialist to Bilingual Paraeducator.
