Taiwo Kujichagulia-Seitu

Taiwo Kujichagulia-Seitu is a dedicated performing arts educator with extensive experience in teaching and leadership within various educational and performing arts institutions. Currently serving as a Performing Artist Teacher at Allendale Elementary School with the Oakland Unified School District, Taiwo specializes in dance, voice, drama, and musical theater for Pre K - 5th grade students. As the Co-founder and Vocal Director of the Oakland Performing Arts Intensive at the Lyric Performing Arts Academy since 2013, Taiwo oversees business operations, marketing strategies, and grant writing. Additionally, Taiwo has held roles as a Music Professor with the Peralta Community College District and has taught music and performing arts at various institutions, including Madison Park Academy and the Conservatory of Vocal and Instrumental Arts. With a strong academic background that includes a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and an MBA in Marketing, Taiwo is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration at California State University - East Bay.
