Ghassan Azar

Ghassan Azar is an experienced software developer and educator with a career spanning several decades. Currently, Ghassan is a member of the CSE Advisory Board at Oakland University and has served as a Software Developer Technical Coach at United Wholesale Mortgage since November 2022. Ghassan's previous roles include a long tenure as a Professor and Associate Chair of the Math and Computer Science Department at Lawrence Technological University, where responsibilities included mentoring students and faculty, alongside managing technical coaching at Computer Software Inc. Additionally, Ghassan worked as a Consultant and Projects' Manager at CSI for 15 years, focusing on project management and client relations. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and Master's degrees in Computer Science, a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, and an Associate degree in Natural Sciences.
