John Young

John Young has an extensive background in marketing and communications, currently serving as Vice President at Oakland University since January 2013, after holding the position of Associate Vice President for Communications & Marketing. Prior experience includes Vice President roles at Northwood University and Walsh College, as well as Corporate Director of Marketing, PR & Sales at Oakwood Healthcare System, and Executive Director of Marketing at St. Joseph Hospital. Early career highlights include positions as Group Marketing Manager at Detroit Medical Center and Director of Marketing at McLaren Flint. John Young holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and an MBA in Marketing from Wayne State University.
