Kevin A Ball

Kevin A Ball currently serves as the Dean and Professor at the School of Health Sciences at Oakland University since August 2016. Prior to this role, Kevin was the Associate Dean for Research and Community at the University of Hartford from July 2005 to August 2016, where Kevin directed the Institute for Translational Research and chaired the Advisory Council for Research. Kevin's academic background includes instructing and mentoring students in Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Science programs, focusing on Kinesiology, Biomechanics, and Scientific Inquiry. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Community Health from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science (MSc) in Exercise Sciences (biomechanics) also from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education with a specialization in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, completed at the same institution.
