Barbara Jones

Barbara Jones is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in human resources and organizational development across various sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Director of People and Culture and Vice Principal at Oaklands College since September 2021, Barbara also operates Barbara Jones Consulting Ltd, established in 2014, providing HR and Organizational Development services. Previous positions include Associate Principal at Guildford College Group and Director of Human Resources at both Blackpool & The Fylde College and Norfolk Constabulary, where responsibilities extended to safeguarding and equality and diversity. Barbara's career began in insurance and progressed through roles in human resources, demonstrating a strong commitment to enhancing organizational capabilities. Educational qualifications include CIPD certification from the University of Central Lancashire and a Bachelor of Laws in Business Law from The University of Huddersfield.
