Gregg Beeg

Gregg Beeg is the current President & CEO at Oaklawn Hospital. Gregg has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Central Michigan University and as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Operations at McLaren Central Michigan.

Beeg was recruited to McLaren Central Michigan in 2000 to help resuscitate the former Central Michigan Community Hospital from the brink of insolvency. Gregg successfully turned the hospital around, transforming it into a peak-performer in the state. In 2010, the hospital merged with McLaren Health Care Corporation. Beeg oversaw 450 FTEs and administered a $90M annual operating budget.

During their time at McLaren Central Michigan, Beeg developed and executed a strategy that produced a financial turnaround, reversing a $2.9M loss into a $2.9M profit by 2004. Gregg also led on-time, on-budget construction projects, including a $3.4M diagnostic catheterization and peripheral vascular laboratory that generated $3.5M in new revenue within its first year. In addition, they improved Standard & Poor’s bond credit outlook rating from “negative” to “stable” in 2000 and from “stable” to “positive” in 2003.

Gregg Beeg has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from Ferris State University.
