Wassim Chehouri D.o

Wassim Chehouri, D.O, MMM, CPE, FACOI, currently serves as Chief of Medical Staff and a member of the Board of Directors at Oaklawn Hospital, where responsibilities include directing inpatient medicine and overseeing hospitalist operations. In addition to roles at Oaklawn, Wassim is the Director of Hospitalist Medicine at Apogee Physicians and a Physician Advisor with WMC Internal Medicine PLLC, focusing on healthcare consulting. Previous experiences include providing medical care to geriatric patients in various care settings, educating medical students as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and serving as Attending Physician at Garden City Hospital. Wassim holds a Master's degree in Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, along with earning a Doctor of Osteopathy from Nova Southeastern University.
