Dawniesha Amaya has a diverse work experience in the senior living and healthcare industry. Dawniesha has held various roles with different organizations, starting in 2011 and continuing to current times.

In 2011, Amaya began their career as a Charge Nurse at Laurel Wellness Nursing Home. Dawniesha took on this role for two years before moving on to Destiny Home Health & Hospice, where they worked as a Home Health Licensed Vocational Nurse from 2013 to 2016.

Amaya then joined Front Porch Communities & Services in 2014, working as a Charge Nurse and also handling medical records until 2016. Simultaneously, they worked at BLVD Treatment Centers as a Case Management Nurse from 2014 to 2016.

In 2016, Amaya transitioned to Anthem Memory Care, taking up the role of Clinical Services Director until 2018. During their time there, they were responsible for coordinating operations and services, supervising department heads, and overseeing sales and marketing efforts. Dawniesha then became an Executive Director at the same company from 2018 to 2021. As an Executive Director, Amaya managed the community, developed new programs, oversaw resident assessment and care planning, and handled resident and family relations.

From 2021 to 2022, Amaya worked at Ivy Living as a Regional Director of Health Services. In this role, they were in charge of managing the healthcare operations of assigned communities, ensuring quality care and supervising direct care team members.

Following their role at Ivy Living, Amaya joined Pegasus Senior Living in 2022 as a Regional Health and Wellness Director. Dawniesha'sresponsibilities included providing direction and quality improvement processes for health and wellness departments, serving as a clinical resource, and overseeing nurse training and development.

Currently, Amaya is working at Oakmont Senior Living as a Regional Health Services Director. In this role, they are responsible for managing the healthcare operations of assigned communities, ensuring resident's healthcare needs are met, and supervising licensed nurses and direct care team members.

Dawniesha Amaya has pursued their education chronologically as follows:

From 2009 to 2010, Dawniesha attended Summit Career College, where they obtained a Diploma of Education in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training.

Subsequently, they enrolled at San Bernardino Valley College from 2011 to 2013. There, they earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management.

Following this, they continued their education at Azusa Pacific University, where they studied Health/Health Care Administration/Management from 2015 to 2018. No specific degree name was provided for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Dawniesha obtained additional certifications. In July 2010, they became a Licensed Vocational Nurse through the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians. Later, in February 2018, they obtained an Administrator certification from the Department of Social Services.
