Carolyn Schuetz

Carolyn Schuetz is a Non-executive Director at OakNorth and was previously with HSBC for 16 years. Carolyn started as a consultant with Charles Schwab in 1993 and then co-founded Cypress Knowledge, a management consulting firm specializing in financial services and technology companies. In 2004, they joined HSBC and served as the Global Chief Operating Officer for Group Retail Banking and Wealth Management. During their time at HSBC, they were responsible for the Retail, Wealth, and Retail Business Banking businesses globally. In 2018, they became a non-executive director for HSBC Retirement Services Ltd., a subsidiary of HSBC established to provide defined contribution pension services.

Carolyn Schuetz has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an Innovation Governance Program (iGP) Level 1 from the Council of Canadian Innovators, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant / Chartered Accountant from CPA Ontario. Carolyn also has a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Information Systems from the University of Waterloo.
