Kristjan Kaar

Kristjan Kaar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product leadership and development, currently serving as Chief Product Officer at OakNorth Bank since October 2021. Prior to this role, Kristjan held the position of Product Lead at OakNorth, where efforts focused on enhancing the Credit Intelligence suite to transform business lending for small and medium-sized enterprises worldwide. Kristjan's tenure at Bloomberg LP included multiple leadership roles, such as Head of Funds, Portfolios, and 3rd Party Indices, where oversight of managed investments for the EMEA region occurred, alongside team leadership for equities and equity products. Kristjan began their career as an Equity Analyst at LHV. Academically, Kristjan earned an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Oxford and holds degrees from the University of Richmond and UWC Red Cross Nordic.
