Brook Hinchman

Brook Hinchman has extensive work experience in the finance industry. They are currently the Head of North America Global Opportunities strategy at Oaktree Capital Management, where they previously held roles as Co-Head of North America & Managing Director Opportunities Funds, Managing Director, Vice President, and Associate. Prior to joining Oaktree, Brook worked at Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division as an Analyst. They also have experience at CSFB as a Summer Analyst, Merrill Lynch as a Brokerage Intern, Cerner Corporation as a Finance Intern, and CB Richard Ellis as a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Industrial Team Intern.

Brook Hinchman attended the University of Iowa from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance. They also studied at the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 2001 to 2005, specializing in Finance. In 2001 and 2002, Brook briefly attended Maharishi International University, but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study during that time.
