Joseph Rak

Joseph Rak has extensive experience in the compliance and legal fields. Joseph currently holds the position of Vice President, Compliance at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. Prior to this, Joseph worked as a Vice President, Compliance Manager at Allianz Global Investors, where they reviewed and approved marketing material for a global audience. Joseph also worked at Dreyfus as the VP, Head of Communications Review, where they developed new policies and procedures for mutual fund marketing material review. Joseph has also held positions at PIMCO, Allianz Global Investors, Smith Barney, FINRA, Tyco Fire & Building Products, NH Bureau of Securities Regulation, and Fidelity Investments, where they gained experience in compliance, marketing review, legal internships, and customer service.

Joseph Rak received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1998. Joseph then pursued a law degree, earning a Juris Doctor (JD) from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law from 2001 to 2004.
