Head Tennis Professional at Oakwood Country Club

Jamie Megginson has extensive experience in the field of tennis coaching and athletic administration. They currently hold the position of Head Tennis Professional at Oakwood Country Club since 2022. Prior to this, Jamie served as the Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach at Randolph College for twelve years, from 2010 to 2022. Before that, they were the Head Women's Tennis Coach at The University of Texas at El Paso from 2003 to 2010 and at Binghamton University from 1998 to 2003. Their career in tennis began at James Madison University, where they worked as a Graduate Assistant for Safety and Aquatics and as an Assistant Women's Tennis Coach from 1996 to 1998.

Jamie Megginson has a diverse education history. In 1991, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from Guilford College. They then pursued a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from James Madison University between 1996 and 1998. In 2022, Jamie completed a Graduate Certificate program in Academic Advising from Kansas State University.
