Debby Ochoa

Debby Ochoa, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Debby currently holds the position of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Director at Oakwood Village starting from July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Director at Teel Plastics from June 2020 to June 2021. From May 2018 to June 2020, Debby worked as the Employee Services Manager at Lands' End. Debby also held the role of Sr. Director of Human Resources at Pacific Cycle from March 2016 to March 2018. Debby'sprevious experience includes various roles at American Girl, where they served as the Human Resources Director from July 2013 to March 2016, Senior Human Resources Manager from March 2010 to July 2013, and Human Resources Manager from August 2008 to March 2010. Debby began their career as a Human Resources Business Partner at Starbucks from January 2006 to July 2008.

Debby Ochoa, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Adult Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University. Debby also earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communications from Chapman University. In addition, Debby Ochoa has obtained certifications including SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM and a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in June 2006.
