Jeanine Cyrwus has a diverse work experience in the education field. Jeanine started their career at Students First, Tutoring Services in 2004 as a Private Tutor and Owner. In 2007, they joined Flint Hill School as a Learning Specialist, where they worked for nine years. In 2016, Jeanine moved to Oakwood School (VA) as the Academic Coordinator for Language Arts and Lower School Coordinator. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Outreach and Literacy at Oakwood School. Throughout their career, Jeanine has also served as a Lead Teacher for Special Education at Oakwood School from 2002 to 2008.

Jeanine Cyrwus holds a range of educational qualifications and certifications. Jeanine obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Deaf Studies from California State University, Northridge from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master of Education degree in Special Education with a focus on Learning Disabilities and Emotional Disabilities from George Mason University. Jeanine completed their M.Ed. degree from 2002 to 2005.

In 2015 and 2016, they ventured into further studies and earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (C.A.G.S.) in Educational Leadership from the University of New England. Apart from their formal education, Jeanine has also completed various certifications to enhance their expertise. Jeanine also obtained certifications in JST Student & ADHD Coaching, Seeing Stars and Visualing & Verbalizing from Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, and completed the Structures Program from Brainspring Orton-Gillingham.

Additionally, Jeanine received a Postgraduate Teaching License in K-12 Learning Disabilities from the Virginia Department of Education. It is worth noting that they attended St. Monica HS, but the duration and any degree earned during that time are not specified.
