Larry Chow, CPA

Larry Chow, CPA has over 18 years of professional accounting experience. Larry began their career in 2002 as a Corporal in the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2007, they became an Intern at Queensland Athletics, followed by a Market Research Intern role at Comperio Research in 2008. In 2011, they joined Smythe LLP as a Senior Accountant. In 2014, they moved to PwC as a Senior Associate, then to PwC Nederland in 2015 in the same role. In 2016, they became Financial Controller at Squla. The following year, they were Finance Manager (maternity leave) at KidKraft, Inc. In 2018, they joined The HEINEKEN Company as Record to Report Officer | SHARP-X Data Analyst. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Finance Director at Oaky.

Larry Chow, CPA, completed their Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a DAP in Accounting from The University of British Columbia in 2010 and a Bachelors of Human Kinetics, with an Interdisciplinary Studies (Leisure and Sport Management) and Commerce focus, from The University of British Columbia in 2009. Larry also attended The University of Queensland in 2007. Additionally, Larry has obtained various certifications, including Develop Your Data Analysis Skills from LinkedIn Learning in 2021, Learning Excel: Data Analysis from LinkedIn Learning in 2020, Data Analytics for Business Professionals from LinkedIn Learning in 2020, Statistics Foundations: 1 from LinkedIn Learning in 2020, Staatsexamen “Nederlands als tweede taal” Programma 1 from Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO) in 2019, White Belt - Continuous Process Improvement from Lean Six Sigma Institute LLC in 2018, and CPA, CA from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 2013.
