Lauren Bensley

Lauren Bensley has extensive experience in youth programs and education, currently serving as an Instructional Aide at Oasis Academy since September 2021. Prior to this role, Lauren has held various positions at Camp Fire since October 2011, including Senior Program Director and Program Director. Previous experience includes working as a Program Assistant at MWR for a brief period in 2011, and as a Day Camp Counselor/Director with Camp Adventure Youth Services from June 2008 to August 2010. Lauren Bensley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Leisure, Youth and Human Services from the University of Northern Iowa in 2011 and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Des Moines Area Community College in 2007.
