Adam Turner

Adam Turner has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Adam started their career as a Network Support Officer at Silver Chain Group in 2005 before moving on to become a Field Engineer at Backbone UK in 2008. Following that, they served as the Technical Services Manager at Backbone UK from 2011 to 2014.

In 2014, Adam joined Oasis Community Learning as a Senior Systems Engineer and progressed to become the Senior Engineering Team Lead from 2015 to 2017. Adam then served as the National Infrastructure Manager from 2017 to 2019 and later took on the role of Technical Project Manager until 2022. Currently, Adam holds the position of Head of IT Security & Group Technical Architect at Oasis Community Learning, where they are responsible for leading the IT Security Team, managing cyber security risks, and delivering technical IT Infrastructure solutions.

Adam Turner obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Communication and Information Technology from Edith Cowan University between 2002 and 2005. Adam also holds additional certifications, including PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in 2016, and ITIL Foundation also from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in 2014.
