Sarah Beeson has a diverse work experience in various industries, including engineering, government, civil rights advocacy, digital marketing, and environmental engineering. Sarah currently holds the role of Vice President of Operations at Oasis Consulting Services, where they oversee firm operations and serves as the Health & Safety Officer. Previously, they worked as the Director of Business Development and Marketing at the same company, leading marketing and business development efforts. Sarah has also served as a City Councilmember for the City of Roswell, Georgia since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Online Strategy Writer at the Human Rights Campaign and as a Social Community Manager at Creative Word and Image Inc. Sarah began their career as an Inbound Marketing Coordinator at WhatCounts and then worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Oasis Consulting Services. Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated skills in operations management, marketing, business development, customer service, and project management.

Sarah Beeson holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Environmental Design & Planning from the University of Georgia - College of Environment + Design. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2019. In 2014, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from Georgia State University in 2010. Sarah also completed a Semester in Washington Journalism Program with a focus on New Media at The George Washington University in 2010. Furthermore, Sarah has obtained additional certifications including being a Licensed Georgia Lead-Based Paint Inspector from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division and a Certified Asbestos Inspector from The Environmental Institute in 2021. In 2018, they also obtained an OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification from Grant Training Solutions.
