Alana Ackerson

Alana Ackerson has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Alana served as the President at Oasis Pro, was a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a Member of YPO. Alana was also the Founder and CEO of HQ Digital at Digital Currency Group. Additionally, they co-founded and advised at Figure and Provenance Blockchain, Inc. Ackerson was Vice President at SoFi for Asset Management and Platform. Furthermore, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at The Thiel Foundation and was a Partner and President at Cabezon Investment Group.

Alana Ackerson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honors in Science, Technology and Society from Stanford University in 2003. Alana then obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Philosophical and Systematic Theology from the Graduate Theological Union in 2011. In 2013, they received a Diploma in Spiritual Direction from San Francisco Theological Seminary, followed by a Doctor of Ministry - Faith and Technology degree from the same institution in 2017. Currently, they are a Candidate for a Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Stanford University, with an expected completion date in 2020.
