Eda Demir Westman is an accomplished professional in the field of food technology and innovation, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at OptiCept Technologies since May 2024. Eda holds multiple roles at Oatly, including Innovation Resource Director, Innovation Resource Manager, and Innovation Support Manager since February 2022. Eda has been an Industrial PhD Student at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University since March 2015 and contributed to Innovation Skåne AB as a member from April 2021 to February 2022, representing OptiFreeze in the FoodTech Innovation Network. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President and Head of Development at OptiCept Technologies from October 2020 to February 2022, and as CEO and Product Development Manager at OptiFreeze AB from April 2014 to October 2020. Eda's academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, and Nutrition from Lund University and a Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering from Hacettepe University.
