Alia Childress, PHR, is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in people operations and compliance management. Currently serving as a People Operations Generalist at the Obama Foundation since February 2022, Alia previously held multiple HR roles at Guaranteed Rate and Medix™, where responsibilities included overseeing onboarding processes, conducting background checks, and ensuring compliance for contract employees. Alia's earlier experience includes administrative support positions at Publication Point, LLC, and SAFEWAY I C MANAGEMENT INC. Alia holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Services from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an MBA from Governors State University.
