David Dietz

Vice President, Strategic Partnerships And Engagement at Obama Foundation

David Dietz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. David began their career as an Advance Associate at The White House in 2010 and later joined the Obama for America campaign in 2012, where they served as the National GOTV Coordinator & HQ Internship Director. In 2013, David worked as a Special Assistant & Travel Director for the Hurricane Sandy Rebuilding Taskforce and as a Special Assistant in the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs at The White House. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at the National Basketball Association (NBA), starting as a Specialist in Social Responsibility and progressing to roles including Senior Specialist, Manager, and finally Social Responsibility Program Director. Currently, David serves as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Engagement at the Obama Foundation since 2022.

David Dietz attended DePauw University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
