Karim Pedersen

Karim Pedersen serves as the Obama Leader Europe for the Obama Foundation, having been selected for the 2023 Leaders Europe program, which emphasizes ethical leadership and shared values in the region. In addition to this role, Karim represents the Obama Leaders Europe Program, facilitating discussions among alumni, and co-leads the Obama Leadership Network's Democracy Community of Practice. Karim is also the Head of International Communications for the Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, who is recognized as the President-elect of Belarus. Karim contributes to the UNLEASH innovation lab for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as an Ambassador, Facilitator, and Mentor, promoting local innovation and team development. Currently, Karim serves as an Advisor and Ambassador for Crossing Borders, advocating for global citizenship, and previously held the position of Vice Chairman for Friends of Belarus in Denmark "Talaka." With experience as a teacher and coordinator at various folk high schools in Denmark and past roles in journalism and public relations, Karim has cultivated a diverse professional background focused on democracy, education, and sustainable development.
